Weathering the Storm
Sunday Dec 10, 2017
Sunday Dec 10, 2017
Sometimes we just have to put our heads down and stay strong while the storm rages. Our faith keeps us strong and helps us remember that no storm, no matter how powerful, can rage forever. In this extreme season of the Winter Solstice, polarities don't have to mean conflict. Finding light within the darkness is how love holds the balance.

An Early Thanksgiving Feast in Gaia's Temple
Instead of our usual fare, this service will BE a Thanksgiving meal! Gaia's Temple will provide the turkey and we are asking everyone to bring a side dish and/or non-alcoholic beverage to share. We will reflect on and count our blessings, offer prayers of gratitude, partake of the meal with heightened consciousness, and share a feast in loving community. Come one, come all!

Every Precious Minute part 2

Monday Oct 16, 2017
Because my soul’s evolution is a journey, I hope to be evolving into a better human being. I hope with each life I am learning to be wiser, to be kinder, to be more generous and more forgiving. That is what I am working on in this life for sure. And I hope that the sum of my lives are like pearls on a necklace, creating and increasing in beauty along the way. Beauty that serves the world. That is a comfort to me. I might not feel that comfort as I go through the deep lessons that are usually painful in the short term, but when I think of my souls’ journey over time, I find comfort in that long term understanding, the bigger picture.

Forgiveness
Sunday Apr 09, 2017
Sunday Apr 09, 2017
For some of us, holding a grudge is elevated to a high art. We reconcile being slighted by hardening our hearts, believing this will save us from future emotional pain. We opt for perceived safety, rather than work to repair and recover. But what is the cost of our hardened hearts? How do we drop the heavy load of bitterness we carry? How does forgiveness make us even stronger than shutting down and checking out?
